We treasure the arts because of unspoken expressions of creative hometown people that draw us together in a collective artistic experience.

When I was trained to give children’s tours at the High, we were taught to invite the students to explore the stories behind the painting or art piece.   When you give handmade art, it comes with the story of the work and the artist, their peacefulness to create, and their expressions through the arts.  I invite you to look openly at the photographs, clay creations, woodworks, baby clothes, paintings… and discover the expressions from the artist in the piece.
